If you only need a cleaning it is ok. If you need anything extensive be careful. I have dual insurance and it still cost me thousands out of pocket. I asked them to get pre approval for the procedures and yet the charges kept coming. Insurance denials, extra charges and now I am much poorer. Do NOT recommend! Please read their response. If they mess up your claim, it is your fault. They file insurance as a courtesy only. Don't trust them. Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

There are no words for my visit. (1) when I 1st called Midtown dental office the most patient caring lady answered the phone. She was so kind and took all my information. I was visiting Pensacola for 3 day jazz festival and leaving for Jamaica in another day. Well, my crown fell out and I needed a emergency treatment and to get a new crown immediately. The receptionist (Cindy Elder)made me a same day appointment. Dr.Nathaniel S.Durtschi was the best dentist ever. This dentist is to be praised. I’m from St.Louis. I can’t stop bragging about this visit. Dr.Durtschi fix my filling,made me a new crown in the same day. My,my. He didn’t know me from the next person. I got to say. It is what it is. He did what a great dentist would do. He is the greatest. I’m coming back next yr to the gulf smooth jazz festival. And I’m making my cleaning appt at Midtown dental again and I have to say, this staff is over and above great Katie was working with the dentist. She was the most gentle assistant. I can’t thank her enough. I’m so forever grateful for this service. I wish I can take them all back to St.louis. Thank you Dr.Durtschi and staff.

Most horrible Dental experience of my lifetime. I went because I read that the dentist was blue and that's exactly what he made me. The environment is not clean and the lab that they use is inadequate. One of the receptionists, Cindy, was extremely rude to me and I mean shouting, shaking her head, rolling her eyes while I was merely waiting ... standing in front of the desk waiting for a letter. Most of the staff was very kind, but I would never in 1 million years go back nor would I recommend this dental office to anyone.

The ladies that answer the phones are kind & efficient at setting appointments for me. The dentist I’ve seen several times is kind and makes sure I’m not in pain while working on my teeth. The dental assistants have been so nice too. I hugged my last assistant cause this dentist has really helped me to feel good when I smile. I’m glad you’re my dentist!! Thank you!!!

Stay far away from this dentist office. They will fraudulently charge your insurance for a higher rate due to saying that you received a product or service that you didn’t. I got an acrylic partial bottom denture and they sent a claim to my insurance for a cast - metal denture. The difference between these two dentures are quite large in price. After questioning them I received a letter stating I needed to go somewhere else for my dental needs. Except the re lines and adjustments that was included in the price for my upper and lower dentures now they won’t have to honor. They gave me 30 days. I had only had my dentures an about a month. And didn’t need anything yet. So my hard re line I won’t receive or any soft re lines either. When I asked about this I was yelled at and told I am not a dentist and didn’t know what I was talking about. I was told and charged for a total of 5 fillings but after I had to go to a different dentist and they took ex rays I was informed I had only 2 fillings and they were done incorrectly which was the reason I was having so much pain. After being treated so bad by the office manager I requested to have a copy of my dental records and ex rays which I
